Smartbig USA, Inc is a newly established company in US. The headquarter is based in Seoul & Busan Korea. Smartbig (http://smartbig.co.kr) corp established Smartbig USA, to publish Korean web novels to US market. We need passionate & enthusiastic editors to accomplish our goal. Please share your talent and have some fun as a team.
We are looking for some web novel editors to join our team. This individual must be capable of editing short & long web novels genres from romance, romance fantasy, BL, action and others.
This individual will be responsible for front office management as well.
Responsibilities include:
Editing web novels from roughly translated Korean novels to publishable versions in the US.
Coordinating with headquarter in Korea.
Publish, distribute and manage those completed web novels to various publishing sites.
Search for contract writers and manage those writers if necessary.
Manage office
Keep office in order
Customer service correspondence (Email, DMs, etc.)
Keep the office organized, stocked, and on track to succeed
Manage inventories and order more from suppliers when needed
Welcome and ensure a positive office experience for team members, visitors, and guests
Onboard new hires
Monitor and update records and files
Assist, as needed, with decks, presentations, and meeting materials
Team player
Other e-commerce-related duties
English/Korean bilingual is a great advantage.

Knowledge & good reading & writing of novels and processes is a HUGE plus
Compensation will be negotiable and vary depending on skill level
The company has an incentive policy for each novel to be published in English by the team or individual.
