As a Barclays VP, Partner and External Credit Data, you will oversee efficient management of partner and external credit data to drive the resilient growth of the Barclays’ partner credit card portfolio. This is an exciting and highly visible opportunity to integrate partner and external credit data sources into our ecosystem. Your success will enhance and improve underwriting, acquisition, customer management, and collection & recoveries performance.

What will you be doing?

Reviewing the usage of partner data, recommending improvements in quality and usability to enable current and future use cases
Driving requirements for ongoing management of partner data via Marketing and internal partners
Evaluating usage of current partner analytics sandbox and reviewing against industry products to recommend paths forward
Driving business requirements for overall ingestion of external credit data into the US Consumer Bank ecosystem
Shepherding new usages of credit data through internal controls framework prior to production
Driving overall intent management of external credit data across the US Consumer Bank to optimize spend and provide resilient credit infrastructure

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline; Master’s degree highly desired
Experience with data analysis, data ecosystems
Familiarity with risk, response, and fraud models and how they drive business outcomes
Experience in a financial institution, credit data management, high risk transaction management, or fraud management environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

Solid analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information
Knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python and Excel
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information to stakeholders, in both written and verbal form
