A role you will love
As a Business Support Manager 3 you will lead our Trust Investment Operations (TIO) team within our Corporate Trust (CCT) organisation. You be responsible for overseeing the setup and integration of the TIO organization as it relates to TIO Business Services, Custodial Settlement, Corporate Actions and Income, and Control which include some of the following processes: SWIFT Messaging, Reporting, Platform Administration, Settlements, Corporate Actions & Income, the Help Desk/Service Team, Investment Manager Relations/Client Solutions, Proxy, Class Actions, Cost Basis Reporting and Transfer Statements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for establishing new process and compliance expectations, and managing the team to those standards
Ensuring accounts are managed to established process and compliance expectations
Working in close collaboration with Project Hoth to deliver the Trust Account System and related processes within the assigned timeframe
Lead and manage staff, develop appropriate reports and other management tools to track and monitor account administration and service
Overseeing responses to issues or problems; resolve escalated issues
Working with various business partners to resolve complex issues
Collaborating with Risk Management, Legal and Sr. Management to resolve issues not in compliance
Driving operational efficiency, increase productivity, and enhance service through analysis, standardization, sourcing, team-member engagement and performance management
Maintaining a productive, highly engaged workforce by fostering trust, integrity, open two-way communication, personal accountability, and excellence
Coaching and providing accurate, timely performance feedback
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with other internal managers, as well as local and regional business partners
Creating a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement to maximize efficiency, profitability, customer service, and reduction of risk
Developing a strong, cohesive leadership team by attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining top talent. Leveraging and developing talent through goal-setting and regular coaching
Responsibility for a positive work environment which includes diversity and inclusion

What will you bring to the role?
The leadership aspect is one of the most important elements to the role’s success. Being able to bring people together to work collaboratively will be a strength of yours and you will be transparent in your expectations of the Administrative Services team.

Leadership doesn’t just come down to the team you develop, but also being able to build and maintain relationships across our business, and the ability to influence and negotiate.

Other key skills required for the role include:

Extensive working knowledge of the following: SEI Trust 300 accounting system, corporate actions, securities setup/movement/settlement.

5+ years of experience in in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning required
2+ years of management experience required
Corporate trust, financial services, and/or risk and regulatory compliance experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred
Program management experience a plus
Demonstrated account reconciling experience
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong collaboration and partnering skills
Change leadership experience
