At a glance:
We are a growing e-commerce company with product lines in the health and fitness sectors. Our growth team is looking for an innovative SEO Specialist to build out and scale our branded and non-branded SEO channels in collaboration with the PPC/SEM channel. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in building an independent SEO program in collaboration with paid acquisition efforts. In this role you will be accountable for driving our SEO programs (technical, content, on/off-page) and strategies, while building the team to support the growth as we scale across multiple business lines.
What you’ll do:
· Own, build and manage the SEO roadmaps for both branded and on-branded search– leading content development, developing and scaling SEO strategies, and executing web optimization projects across our multiple business lines
· Define, build and lead a world-class SEO team
· Grow our prospecting and customer acquisition volume through content and technical strategies to increase our Search Market Share
· Create and execute a learning agenda complete with testing infrastructure and research efforts
· Regularly audit websites and drive an actionable plan for SEO improvements that also increase SEM efficiency including content updates, back-linking strategy, and metadata optimizations
· Develops near, mid, and long-tail content strategies and works with the Marketing team to drive new content ideas using targeted keyworks and SEO best practices
· Guarantee web measurement tools are properly working and perform Q/A to assure zero down-time
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, Analytics, and Dev teams to ensure SEO activities are maximally optimized and correctly attributed
· Stay on top of market and industry trends to develop and source new opportunities for channel growth
Who you are:
· 6+ years of experience working on SEO-SEM initiatives – both technical and content
· Experience leading a world-class SEO team
· Experience working with brands that have significant TV advertising spends
· Demonstrated success in creating and implementing scalable SEO-SEM projects in the DTC space
· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in marketing, communications or related quantitative fields preferred
· Excellent strategy and analytical skills using forecasting and simulations to make data-driven decisions
· Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
