Our Enterprise Solutions & Services Architecture development team within our API Solutions organization provides enterprise service development and Tier 2 support. We work closely with our business partners in developing new web applications, enhancing existing ones, and building enterprise services for our different line of business. As a Scrum Master, you perform an integral role in the delivery of new software systems and enhancements to existing systems. You will serve as an Agile practitioner and coach and manage the deployment of the Agile methodology throughout the API Solutions organization. In this role, you will be helping keep our team’s work organized and prioritized while maintaining communication with project stakeholders on the status of our team’s progress.

Our Enterprise Solutions & Services Architecture development team thrives in an outside-the-box thinking to derive the best technical solutions to meet our business strategies. How you’ll spend your time:

Lead, train and coach the API Solutions organization in its Scrum adoption.

Plan and advise Scrum implementations within API Solutions including hosting stand ups daily, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

Assist the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value increments including removing any impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress.

Ensure adherence to quality IT standards and review project deliverables.

Communicate issues, actions, timeframes, and project outcomes to the stakeholders including the product manager and PMO for ongoing understanding and support of the project.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

You have Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines and at least 5 years of IT experience OR at least 7 years of IT experience.

You have at least 2 years of Scrum Master / Project Lead level experience. Scrum Master certification is a plus.

You have advanced knowledge for designing, planning, estimating, scoping, setting expectations, testing and implementing solutions while managing risk.

You have strong ability to lead a team including but not limited to Application Architects, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps and Developers.

You are able to collaborate with other UMB departments to establish and guide a cross functional project team to achieve objectives with quality and on time.

You have proven ability to influence and help with the adoption of Agile.

You have experience facilitate change management activities aimed at consistent adoption of agile best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.

You have experience in conducting research and leveraging new techniques that will provide value to a team/enterprise.

You have experience with TFS or relevant experience with similar technology like Jira.

The pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in Colorado is typically $72,870 to $135,450 annually. The selected candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay for the selected candidate may be above or below this range. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in one or more incentive plans based on company and individual performance.
