We’re an independent, locally owned insurance agency focused on providing top-notch risk management expertise to our individual and small business clients in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Business has expanded rapidly and it’s time to bring in a new producer to join the White Clay Insurance team. The right person does not have previous insurance industry experience; Sales experience is helpful, but not required and an extroverted personality is key. Please be sales-minded, resilient and highly self-motivated. Obtaining your P&C license is required but have no fear! We cover the expense, pay you and tutor you through the study process. Upon licensing, you will begin an extensive mentorship program. We will teach you how to be successful in the insurance industry, how to build your business and become a trusted advisor for your clients, their families and their employees. Responsibilities:
-Represent White Clay Insurance with compassion, expertise and professionalism to our clients, prospective clients and carrier partners
-Acquire and maintain a high level of education and training in the insurance industry
-Generate new business activity through personal introductions, direct marketing, networking, social media and referrals.
-Create and maintain client and referral relationships.
-Attend and participate in local community events.
Requirements:
-Take and pass the State of Delaware P&C insurance exam and complete licensing requirements (You must be able to pass a background check).
-You MUST be technologically savvy. We rely heavily on multiple technology packages to successfully run the business. We will teach you, but you must be comfortable navigating technology with an ability to quickly learn new programs and applications.
-You must be goal oriented and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment showing up each day with an open mind, a positive attitude and respect for your colleagues.
-College degree and/or completion of military/other industry training program preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
