Pizza Wholesale of Lexington is seeking an ambitious, hard-working, self-motivated individual for our Route Assistant position in the Fredericktown, MO District. Route Assistants are responsible for safely and efficiently assisting in delivering product to our Valued Customer Partners.
Responsibilities and Duties:

The Route Assistant rides with an Account Manager and assists with activities such as loading/unloading, product and merchandise.
Training store employees as required.
Cleaning up after you leave a store (not leaving tracks with a two-wheeler during rainy weather, breaking down ALL pizza boxes, etc.).
Assisting, if necessary, in the installation of new accounts and sampling of stores.
Checking Hunt Brothers® email account on a weekly basis.

Resolving problems within your abilities and communicate pertinent information (problems, challenges, etc.) to the appropriate team member.

Attending field training courses and other professional development courses a needed or required
Supporting and implementing all company decisions.
Ensuring proper rotation of products at customer location, vehicle.
Assist with implementation of promotional materials as needed.
Keep both dry and cold area of cold plate organized throughout the day.
Assist with above and beyond service at our VCP’s

Cleaning freezers, ovens, prep tables, etc.

Other duties as assigned.

Typical Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated customer service ability.
Must be innovative self-motivated and operate with a sense of urgency.
Must maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary Range: $15.00/per hour
Supervision: Works under general supervision of the District Manager
Minimum Requirements:

Legal Age: 18 years old
Education or Equivalent Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Function Specific Experience: None
Certification/License Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record

Travel: Up to 20% to include overnight travel, when necessary

Working Conditions: Describe the physical environment in which the job works, and any special physical qualifications required (safety hazards, visual/hearing acuity or unusual conditions).

Work is performed in area that is adequately lighted and ventilated.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
Must be able to work long hours, up to 14 hours per day

Physical Demands:

Significant walking or other means of mobility.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift/move up to 75 pounds.
Extended times riding in a vehicle.
Must be able to step up into and off of back of truck, 3 feet from ground, repeatedly throughout a day.
