R&D Specialist II – High Throughput ELISA Production
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, R&D Specialist II, are to:
Conduct complex activities that require the application of a specialized scientific technique: this role will focus on extracting total protein under ISO quality management standard from permitted (PPQ) and non-permitted plant materials as well as other organisms;
Maintain proper records and documentation (e.g. LIMS and ELN), manage inventory and perform lab maintenance tasks;
Follow established protocol for primary and associated tasks including shipping, receiving, handling, extracting and delivering samples for the ELISA characterization work-flow;
Prepare reports of an analytical and interpretative nature;
May train and supervise others in specialized area as needed;
Take initiative in keeping current with developments in specialized area;
Interact with manager, peers, internal collaborators and project customers within specialized area;
Demonstrate routine problem solving that requires original thinking and deductive reasoning of diverse procedures within specialized laboratory technology;
Deliver results in a timely fashion.

Required Qualifications:
Master of Science with 1 years of relevant experience or Bachelor of Science with at least 2 years of relevant experienceor, if Non degreed at least 10 years of relevant experience
