What Qualifications Do you Need for this Electrical Engineering Job?:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 8+ years of Electrical engineering experience either within (or as a consultant to) the industrial, chemicals, refinery, or energy industry.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in any state (Required)
Experience and knowledge in Power Distribution for Medium Voltage and Low Voltage schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, equipment arrangements, and lighting design.
Competence in Project Management activities such as scope development, cost and man hours estimates, bid package development, scheduling, vendor evaluation / review.
Front-End Loading Design experience on Plant Capital Projects (Required)
Arc Flash Hazard Analysis Experience (Strong Plus)
What are Your Primary Responsibilities?
As an Electrical Engineer / Project Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and working with our clients on Front-End Loading Design of Industrial Plant Capital Projects.
You will work with Power Distribution for Medium Voltage and Low Voltage schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, equipment arrangements, and lighting design.
You will not only design, troubleshoot, and problem solve, but you will often put on your “Project Engineering Hat ” and work closely with our other On-Board Engineering Discipline Team Members to complete project objectives on-time and within budget.
You will certainly need to have good written and verbal communications skills and CAD skills in 2D or 3D, and you must be a Registered P.E.
