Your Job
Indeed Program Managers are responsible for effectively delivering business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent project & program management practices. We are facilitators and motivators, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of cross-functional programs.
In this role, you will:
Define simple and effective processes for working with stakeholders & legal, minimizing delays and ensuring the timely release of communications across email, SMS, phone, and push notifications
Establish and document governance council processes
Manage logistics for adding new channel support to our Communications Settings program
Manage and coordinate communication updates recommended by the governance panel through legal review to be implemented by the effected teams
Anticipate and mitigate risk by conducting assessments across the program to determine if the implementation plans meet stakeholder requirements and will achieve strategic objectives
Apply analysis based on in-depth research and interpretive thinking. And evaluate and recommend solutions from various options
Drive work to align to business goals and outcomes by partnering with the program sponsor and stakeholders to define the program OKRs and roadmap
Leverage change management best practices to ensure the successful adoption of strategic initiative
Lead program reviews with stakeholders and senior leadership to drive alignment and specific outcomes
Understand and evangelize this and other program strategies and their benefits for Indeed
In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Plan and manage other medium-to-large programs consisting of multiple complex projects, driving delivery of project work through project managers who are working on related programs
Lead the definition, design, and rollout of new programs or strategic initiatives
Collaborate across Indeed with stakeholders and other project/program managers
Create stakeholder facing metrics, weekly executive summary and reporting
Mentor other more junior program and project managers to refine their individual project management skills and behaviors. Provide opportunities to others to help close their skill gaps
Assist in recruitment and provide input to hiring decisions
Who You Are
Who You Are
8-10+ years experience leading complex cross-functional programs/projects
Highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity and exhibit a high degree of initiative
Worked closely with a breadth of roles, from software engineers, UX, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to legal, marketing, and customer service for the purpose of getting high-quality products and features through a delivery lifecycle
Experience in understanding, managing, and/or creating cross-organizational processes and workflow to drive an outcome and being able to optimize for more effective results
Experience influencing senior management and setting expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
Strong organizational skills and deep understanding of Project Management concepts for planning, monitoring, and reporting
Effective analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources to assist
Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
Experience working with remote teams
Some experience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile/Scrum, waterfall, etc)
Consulting and/or agency background a plus, but not required

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
