Ø THE OPPORTUNITY
Product Marketing Manager is responsible for go to market campaigns, sales enablement, and competitive Intelligence program at XP Power.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer research: Working with relevant stakeholders to develop and own customer personas and customer journey.
Own competitive intelligence program with the key deliverables including
Battlecards
Administration of the competitive intelligence tool
SWOT
Product and market intelligence related to the competitors
Work with product managers to develop product positioning and produce the following
Market segmentation and product differentiation for targeted messaging
Value proposition and initial messaging
Defining Marketing Mix
Own and execute the go-to- market strategy for the product marketing deliverables including
Go to market definition and coordination with marketing communication team
Create the initial messaging for the selected customers and channels making sure that the product positioning and messaging is clear for the target audience
Campaign definition and coordination
Sales enablement
Trade shows
Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required to attend exhibitions, and other events.
KEY Qualifications and Skills
Education or Equivalent
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an MBA preferred
4-5 years of product marketing experience
Relevant industry background preferred but not required
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Understanding of the key elements of marketing strategy
Demonstrable experience in the go to market strategy, campaigns definition and coordination
Understanding of the market and customer research and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to engage with the cross functional teams to get things done
Strong story telling ability
Efficiency in Excel or any other data analysis tool
Salesforce, SAP/S4, sales and competitive enablement tool knowledge is a plus
Related technical background preferred
Experience working in an international environment preferred
