The Business Platform Engineerings team’s primary objective is to help people get jobs. To achieve this, you will design systems that bring together Indeed’s Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support organizations to better serve our Job Seekers and Employers .This will include building APIs, data warehouses, reports / dashboards, data connections/translations between systems, and management tools to connect the dots within Indeed’s partner/SaaS ecosystem.You will define requirements, measure key results, track experiments, and frequently ship releases. You will do data analysis using the plethora of in-house tools specially built for the colossal amount of data Indeed gathers.Our team is based across the US fully remote.

Your friends describe you as thorough, analytical, and detail-oriented.You have experience in building platforms and understand how software development works. You have experience working with a large cross-functional team and solving hard technical challenges.

Who You Are


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of product management experience.
Experience with Customer Service lines of business
Experience building platforms and API’s to meet a wide variety of use cases.
Experience building complex systems incrementally through partnerships.
Experience making complex data-driven business decisions.
Experience extracting requirements from customers and stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with large cross-functional teams, including legal and security.
Ability to drive, contribute to, and communicate solutions to technical product challenges.
Passionate about defining and evaluating new business opportunities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Understanding of common privacy industry standards/ regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), especially as it relates to building technology products.
You move fast and are able to make decisions to move your product forward in an ambiguous environment
You are comfortable juggling between multiple projects and priorities

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 108,000 – 157,000 USD per year
Austin 108,000 – 157,000 USD per year
NYC Metro Area 131,000 – 191,000 USD per year
SF Bay Area 144,000 – 210,000 USD per year
Seattle 132,000 – 192,000 USD per year
