An award-winning, patient-centered hospital is seeking an experienced Manager of Labor & Delivery/Postpartum to join their prestigious healthcare organization in Central Delaware.

The Nurse Manager of Women’s Services will be supported by a dynamic team and report to the Director of Women’s Services. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of the special care nursery and of nursing service within that department. Nurse Manager allocate resources to promote efficient, safe and high quality care based on the professional standards and scopes of nursing practice.
The ideal candidate for the Nurse Manager of L&D will meet the following criteria:
Education: BSN (will accept a bachelor degree in another discipline if candidate holds a MSN)Experience: 3 years of nursing experience; previous leadership roles as a preceptor/ clinical coordinator. Computer/Software Knowledge: EMR proficiencyExcel/ data management. Licensure/Certification: DE RN License/ or Compact licensure, Certification in a previous/current specialty.
The Postpartum Manager will demonstrate competency in the ANA Nurse Administrator Standards of Practices and professional performances, attain patient satisfaction and quality measures goals, and demonstrate nursing leadership by role modeling professional behavior; exercising core values and practicing innovation.
