Description :
Nurse Family Partnership Program in Delaware is seeking a Nurse Supervisor
Nurse Family Partnership works with first time mothers during their pregnancy and their child’s first years to help empower and create better futures.
Work within the local community and lead agency structure to assure that the Program is implemented in accordance with established guidelines and contract requirements.
Using principles of supervision, reflective practice, and staff development, to provide primary support and appropriate oversight in the Program, and to build and model a strengths-based, client-centered culture.
Provide supervision to four nurses, one outreach and one data specialist. Prepares and maintains timely documentation and records in accordance with agency, state, accreditation, and other requirements, policies, and procedures.
Evaluate and implement agency outcomes and interventions.
Participate in the NFP Community Advisory Board and subcommittees as appropriate and serve on related committees as assigned or approved. Serve on agency staff committees as assigned and/or approved.
Position based in Wilmington, working with families within New Castle County. Some state-wide as needed for meetings.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Nursing may be required; Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field, preferred.
Current and in good standing license with experience in public health, community, and/or maternal-child health, required.
Ability to respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency’s service population.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the community.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and accurately.
Must have valid driver’s license, which meets the requirements of the agency’s insurance carrier.
