Hybrid Design opportunity for a reputable client in the Wilmington, DE area!!
Description:
The Mechanical Designer will be supporting projects utilizing CAD software to upgrade existing equipment, provide refurbished second hand equipment and to refurbish equipment at a customer’s site.
Once up and running learning the product line – can work fully remote. This person will get the opportunity to wear many hats and get experience in many different areas.*
Skills:
AutoCAD
Mechanical design
SolidWorks
Qualifications:
AS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting and Design Technology or related field is preferred
5+ years of AutoCAD experience
Ability to draft materials such as steel, metal and tubing
Ability to draft fabrication drawings
Experience getting parts from a customer and be able to reverse engineer to create a drawing
Ability to measure parts to recreate CAD drawings, using calipers and micrometers
