Description :
The WM Managed Product Program team seeks to hire an experienced Executive Director to manage large scale platform transformation programs. The role will partner closely with Middle office trade support, Technology, Business leadership, and external vendors within and across lines of businesses to drive the strategic trade implementation program.

The WM Managed Products Operations team supports the discretionary business offered by Global Private Bank and US Wealth Management, which consists of the Chase Wealth Management and JP Morgan Americas businesses, representing in excess of $640 billion in AUM across 900k accounts.
The role requires the ability to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with the senior management team. The individual should have a proven track record of managing in an operations organization. The qualified candidate will drive strategic implementation and program governance.

In partnership with the Middle office trade support, Technology, Business leadership, and external vendors, deliver a scalable solution for trade implementation across AWM and USWM for the global managed accounts program
Demonstrate effective program governance and oversight by ensuring that: (a) workstreams and initiatives are tracked and actively managed, (b) KPI’s are agreed, measured and tracked, (c) deliverables are properly prioritized and sequenced, (d) risks are addressed and status measured, (e) deliveries are successful, and (f) benefits are realized
Partner with Finance and Business management to develop Business Cases, ROI, TCO, Governance and Cost Benefit Analysis and best practice methodologies
Lead a team of highly motivated individuals and encourage them to develop new capabilities and competencies through continuous learning and development
Represent the vision, strategy, and roadmap with key senior stakeholders and in high-visibility forums.
Develop and maintain deep relationships with partners throughout the organization including senior leaders in Finance and Business Management, Communications, Business, Technology, Design, Operations, and control functions across lines of business


Highly visible role interfacing with portfolio managers, due diligence, and governance teams, operations middle office staff, technology & senior stakeholders
Managed large-scale projects or business initiatives across lines of businesses
Innovation and change management to drive efficiencies and scale in a controlled operations manner
Drive risk and control agenda

People Management – Prior experience managing teams is required; Ability to coach and provide meaningful feedback to employees; Demonstrated ability to foster an open working environment.

Client & Customer Focus – Analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to identify trends and improve processes for both the customer and the business.

Risk & Controls – Understanding of regulatory/legal landscape related to the investment product process; Ability to work with audit, compliance and regulatory constituencies to manage work in accordance with established procedures and relevant regulations and laws; Demonstrated accountability for work processes and the associated risks and controls; Demonstrated ability to raise issues to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment.


Demonstrated Operations leadership experience; Minimum 10 years of management experience including leading complex and geographically dispersed teams
Minimum 10 years of hands-on in the financial industry experience, managed account product operations, product management, or investments middle office management (preferred)
Minimum 5 years program management experience required
Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
Ability to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational model
Ability to quickly build relationships and influence colleagues, business leaders, and functional partners
Strong background and proven ability to transform Operations businesses across multiple business areas; Vocal in challenging business-as-usual operating models and recommending innovative improvements
