Description :
SUMMARY:Disassemble, clean and inspect molds. Perform insert changes and re-assemble molds. Verify molds are capable of producing parts that meet customer requirements efficiently and look for ways to improve overall mold maintenance activities that promote productivity, quality and safety. Assist with the direction of others in the department and provide training. Backup to the Mold Maintenance Supervisor.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following; other duties may be assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee must frequently walk, stand, lift and carry 35 lbs. up to 10 feet, and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds several feet (e.g. molds without eye bolts). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to climb in and out of presses, balance and be able to work inside the mold.
Salary info:
$17 – $30 / hr
