Responsibilities:
This position is for Pactiv Evergreen, Inc. The position is remote; however, Chicagoland based candidates strongly desired. Candidates must be located near a major airport.
Reporting Relationship:
The Labor Relations Manager will report to the Director of Labor Relations.
Responsibilities:
This position will efficiently and effectively support the overall labor relations strategies, programs and processes across union free locations by managing labor relations goals and responsibilities. This role will analyze data and build materials, processes and procedures to support labor relations. This role will partner with the Human Resources team and provide enterprise wide labor relations support to our 50+ union free manufacturing and warehousing operations and will report directly to the Director of Labor Relations.
Labor Relations:
Partner with Director of Labor Relations, HR Leaders and Operations Leaders to develop annual labor relations strategies for the organization
Facilitate Employee Relations Assessments at manufacturing and warehousing facilities, including the development of annual schedules and priority lists, analysis of the data and report out of findings and recommendations to locations and senior leadership
Develop predictive analytics for labor relations to track progress against labor relations goals and identify risk for employee unrest/union vulnerability
Lead monthly calls with field Human Resources regarding labor relations topics
Partner with Director or Labor Relations to provide onsite leadership and support to facilities experiencing union organizing activity, including assisting with communications and day to day activities
Partner with Director of Labor Relations to develop communication materials during organizing campaigns
Partner with locations to develop positive labor relations activities by location
Facilitate Union Avoidance and other labor relations training.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field
Experience in manufacturing/warehousing environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in a high-energy and quickly changing environment
Experience with large change management initiatives
Experience with shaping solutions and driving business results
High results orientation and ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to travel 20 – 30%
