Key Accountabilities – Details
The Inside Sales Account Manager”s general function is to provide customers with a reliable, proactive and results-oriented commercial point of contact. In addition, they will gather information regarding customer performance, market trends and competitors” movements to assist our client in the development of the businesses strategy, plan and budget. The Inside Sales Account Manager is also responsible for the effective execution of the agreed-upon strategy and achievement of all budgeted and forecasted objectives.
This position is intended to support an existing portfolio of customers virtually, with a path to becoming an outside sales account manager in the future based on positive sales performance and execution of responsibilities
Key Accountabilities – Details

Represent the PPI business, presenting product value to ensure and/or establish strong presence and support a positive image within the market
Maintain & Grow sales within existing customer base – as well as follow up on and commercialize new projects within same.
Develop a professional network by building and maintaining strong, positive, long-lasting customer and business relationships to expand current customer portfolio
Serve as reliable point of contact for all customer account management matters
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to highlight the technical aspects of products and processes to existing customers
Develop trusted advisor relationships with accounts in order to capture new business with existing clients
Work with team to negotiate contracts and close agreements while maximizing profits
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Explore new application/target-market opportunities for current products and services
Detect profitable future business opportunities and effectively communicate throughout the organization
Maintain sales accountability by reporting and assessing your sales activities and results in call reports, meeting participation, forecasts and market analysis

Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Analyze customer ordering patterns and business performance and then develop into annual -budget and monthly forecasting numbers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing customers to meet their needs
Responsible for the monitoring, analysis and reporting of competitor activities in the market
Report on competitor developments and their projected impact on business
Serve as liaison between Customers and current team
Ensure effective communication of customer opportunities and issues throughout the organization
Collaborate with team to identify and grow opportunities within territory and coordinate sales efforts with other departments
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Continuously improve through feedback from both external customers and the internal team
Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Achieves assigned sales quota in designated accounts and achieves KPI”s with new target markets/customers
Meets assigned expectations for volume, revenue, and profitability.
Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Completes all administrative duties within time frame – including, but not limited to, reporting, sales pipeline development, forecasting, and expense management.
Organizational Alignment

Reports to the VP Sales, North America or Director of Business Development, North America
Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications

Four year college degree from an accredited institution
Minimum two years of strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
PC and MS Office proficiency
Job Requirements & Working Conditions

This position requires minimal travel (Up to 10%)
