Our confidential client is a non-profit organization that owns and manages apartment communities in Wilmington, Delaware. The mission of our client is to provide adequate, secure, safe & sanitary housing for eligible persons of limited income in an atmosphere of peace and dignity, with a sense of responsible community.
Currently the client is seeking housekeepers to join the team to support the mission of the organization. The scope of work covers offices, common areas, activity rooms, hallways, lounges, libraries, a dining room, and resident apartments. Responsibilities:
Cleans walls, polish floors/co base, carpets and other interior building components by mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing or vacuuming
Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures, shelves, handrails, door frames and computers
Washes inside of windows
Empties and cleans wastebaskets, garbage containers and ashtrays. Transports trash to disposal area/dumpsters
Clean and disinfect common areas including but not limited to bathrooms, lounge area, activity room, dining rooms
Replenishes soap and paper supplies/products
Moves and arranges furniture when vacuuming carpets/floors
Operates a variety of custodial equipment such as wet/dry mops and vacuums, scrubbers, carpet shampooers and buffers
Lifting heavy objects (i.e.: mattresses and box springs, tables, chairs) when performing daily housekeeping duties
Clean inside and outside of doors including glass
Clean assisted living apartments including vacuuming, light dusting, clean bathroom, and kitchen, disinfect all surface areas, mop kitchen/bath floors, take out trash to transport to disposal areas, and strip bed linens and re-make bed with new linens.

Must be flexible with working weekends & holidays
Experience:
Minimum 1 year
Cleaning/janitorial chemical knowledge a plus
Job Type:
Part-Time
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday, 4 hours daily
Salary:
$15 per hour
