3+ years stable management experience in economy hotel or motel Management.
Passion for and expertise in recruiting, selecting and developing strong team members.
Exceptional skills in customer satisfaction
Previous success driving sales to the business
Exposure to Grass Roots Marketing and Community Outreach to drive sales Experience with full P&L management and accountability
Understanding of facilities management and maintenance
Success in building relationship with field and corporate leadership and support partners
Computer proficiency, including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
Associate degree or equivalent is required
What You Will Be Doing;
Traveling 85-100% of the time to fill in for General Managers in an assigned area where there’s a vacancy. Quickly building relationships of trust and influence with property-level team members. Aiding in the establishment and implementation of local community relations activity to build local relations and support needs of the community while demonstrating a positive image for brand.
If not at a specific property, this position would be working out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Accommodation may be provided if needed
Providing assistance to general managers in identifying and solving issues at their properties. Selecting, hiring and developing front-line team members. Managing the financial performance of the property and the achievement of property sales and profit objectives, including management of the profit and loss statement at the property level, deposits, accounting and more.Providing excellent service to our guests through warm hospitable interactions, as well as identifying and addressing guest issues. Managing the standards and procedures of Motel 6/Studio 6 through effective planning, organization, training and decision-making.
Managing the property’s Safety and Security program.
