The ideal teammate would be…
An Equipment Operator who will operate heavy machinery for our manufacturing process. The role will include the knowledge to stack raw materials to maximize space, feed our manufacturing plant. This role will include overseeing our blending process and maintaining of the equipment from a daily start up to an end of day pass down.
This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE facility, this is not a remote role.
Shifts Available:
7am-8pm Monday – Wednesday and/or 7pm-8am Monday – Wednesday
7am-8pm Thursday – Saturday
7pm-8am Thursday – Saturday (Shift ends 8:00am Sunday morning)
The ideal teammate would be able to:
Operate construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors
Prepare product for manufacturing process using loader
Blend material for bulk supplies
Transport tools and other construction equipment, Bobcat, Forklifts
Use equipment to stockpile raw product
Inspect and fuel vehicle prior to beginning shift
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment daily
Perform other related duties as assigned
Work prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery
Work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains
Lift 50 pounds at a time
Would you describe yourself as someone who has:
Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
Vocational school training or apprenticeship (preferred)
Ability to be flexible to support needs of manufacturing
Excellent mechanical skills
Ability to follow instructions
