We have an immediate opening for a
ead of Enterprise Risk Management to join our team. This is a fully remote position.

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) develops, communicates, and executes the risk management strategy to continually minimize loss and grow income. He/she oversees the execution of FFCU’s compliance programs, consults on compliance and risk related issues for new initiatives, products, and services, and partners with the business to provide compliance related education and policy updates.

Primary Responsibilities:

Establishing and leading the strategy, direction, objectives, and operations for the enterprise risk management organization.
Leading the innovation and governance of the organization’s operation al and strategic risks within the current environment, and in anticipation of changes to the financial services industry.
Overseeing the compliance risk assessment program to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responding to proposed regulations during comment period and monitoring new regulations and amendments to ensure compliance related changes in policies and procedures.
Reviewing findings from cases of fraud, misrepresentation, and other situations that impact loan salability and put FFCU’s assets at risk to identify potential policy, process, or tool changes to prevent future occurrences.
Ensuring adherence to all guidelines for SAR filing, member identification, anti-money laundering and the Credit Union’s Bank Secrecy Act Policy and as needed, review OFAC hits to membership database.
Leading the Information Security Committee meetings including managing business continuity and the physical security (e.g. cameras) of the credit union.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 10 years’ experience performing risk and compliance-related activities for a financial institution.
Experience reviewing new and amended regulations to make recommended changes to policies, processes, or tools.
Experience supervising or managing employees or leading teams.
Experience reviewing forms, contracts, disclosures, and related tools to ensure compliance.
