Grain Buyer
We are an international Pulse Company, looking to hire 2 Grain Buyers for our Northern US operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Responsible for gathering the information required to set competitive grower bids
Visit with Growers on Farm- Cold calls will be required—to discuss our purchasing programs
Coordinate transportation of inbound product to facilities
Oversee settlements with growers
Settle any disputes with growers regarding pricing, quality of product delivered and delivery timing
Handle planting stock sales to growers
Be self-motivated
Other duties that come up in the course of operations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the agriculture industry is an asset-But not a requirement
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Strong leadership skills—must work well with others in a Team atmosphere-
Deadline and detail-oriented
Customer service and problem resolutions skills –
The successful candidate will be our first representative in the northern region and will be charged with the task of building our business from the ground up.
Salary: compensation will be in the $100,000 Plus range, with benefits and profit sharing, depending on experience. Health benefits, Dental and 401K will be part of the compensation packager Relocation might be required

Salary: $65,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
