We’re PrepNow, an online brand of StudyPoint, a tutoring company focused on providing a personal, customized tutoring experience for students from the comfort of their homes. We help high school students throughout the United States who are looking for assistance in writing their college admissions essays. At PrepNow, you’ll work with students in a virtual environment, from the convenience of your home or office. There’s no commuting, no getting lost, no wear and tear on your car.
What We Offer:
Flexible scheduling. Tell us which days and times you want to tutor, and we’ll match your busy schedule. All tutoring is done online, so there is no commuting for you!
Paid training and direct deposit. Pay rate is $15-$23/hr, depending on experience.

What We’re Looking For:
Encouraging, thoughtful, dynamic personalities.
At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience working with high school and/or college age students on writing.
A Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in English or a humanities subject from a top 50 college or university.
Confidence helping students through the writing process including brainstorming, outlining, developing and editing drafts, and polishing final drafts.
Comfortable with technology.
Able to commit a minimum of 6 hours per week for at least 6 months.
What You Will Do:
Work one-on-one with students to assist them in preparing their college essays.
Facilitate the writing process for your students.
Provide in-depth feedback on essay drafts.
Communicate with students, parents, and staff about student progress.
Meet reliably with students, behave with professionalism, and model this behavior for students.

Pay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour
