Description :
Job Purpose:
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all site utility systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and scheduling maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Role will also provide oversite for grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal.
Responsibilities:
Ensure workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements.
Organize efficient workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
Hire, train, and assess the performance of workers.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
Analyze manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Researches and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to improve efficiency of processes and reduce unnecessary costs.
Work interdepartmentally to ensure efficient and quality production across the organization in its entirety.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal maintenance for repairing equipment as needed.
Supervisor team responsible for internal and external facility maintenance of systems and grounds.
Ensure maintenance work execution is compliant with statutory regulations.
Collaborate with maintenance on installations, rebuilds, changes to systems/equipment
Physical Requirements:
Majority of time in production work environment
Exposed
Safety, Quality and Hygiene Requirements:
Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct
Performance Expectations:
Knowledge and understanding of Boilers
Knowledge and understanding of HVAC Systems
Knowledge and understanding of Chiller Systems
Experience with Government Regulatory Compliance
You should be proficient in:
Blueprint Reading
PLC Troubleshooting Skills
Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
Electrical Schematics
Salary info:
$36 – $40 / hr
