A Reputable healthcare system in Southern Delaware is seeking Emergency Department Laboratory Manager for their Emergency department. The Emergency Department Laboratory Manager will oversee all lab operations and testing protocols done within the extended Emergency Department including traumas and Stat Labs as well.

The Emergency Department Laboratory Manager will be joining a hospital that houses close to 350 licensed beds along with a smaller sister facility. The Emergency Department Laboratory Manager will be joining a reputable facility, providing leadership and support to Laboratory Services within the Emergency Department. The l Emergency Department Laboratory Manager will be responsible for their respective overall lab functions based out of the Emergency department while collaborating with the hospital’s main Lab department. They will exercise general oversight of staff and operations in their respective areas while reporting to Lab Director. The Emergency Department Laboratory Manager will ensure that laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with prudent medical laboratory practice as defined by accepted standards of regulatory agencies and approved by the Medical Director of Laboratory Services.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Expert knowledge of respective laboratory section
MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), or CLS(NCA) MLT(ASCP), or equivalent certification
