GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
In this position you will be expected to adhere to company safety requirements while performing efficient installation of required materials and equipment in accordance with blueprints, specification and NEC. The ability to get along with others is a must. The ability to work independently with little supervision is a must. Some Jobs Require travel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Read and Comprehend Blueprints to allow installation of conduits and conductors in accordance with specifications.
Bend and Install Conduit
Install conductors for branch circuits and feeders.
Install and terminate conductors to devices, breakers, fixtures, disconnects, etc.
Installation of electrical panelboards and switchgear.
Installation of Generators.
Supervise and train apprentice help.
Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
Ensure clean work area during and after installations.
Follow Company safety guidelines.
Be respectful to coworkers, other subs and customers,
Install Communications/Fiber optic cable. Terminate cable and or fiber
L ayout of equipment, patch panels, switches, etc. in accordance with project Scope of work.
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean jobsite.
Complete paperwork in timely manner
Perform job in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
Ensure installation is in accordance with jobsite specifications and NEC.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
3- 5 years’ experience performing electrical installs for commercial and or industrial projects.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Ability to work independently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50lbs
