Description :
Position Summary:
A Penske District Rental Manager is a position for a disciplined, self-motivated individual with a passion for providing the highest customer service and growing the business.
This position will be located at the Penske facility at 51 Boulden Blvd. New Castle, DE.
Major Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the rental department of a district location as well as any branches, rental marts, and agents
Provide leadership for the commercial and consumer product lines for the district
Assist business rental customers, full service lease customers, and consumer rental customers
Act as liaison between internal customers such as the maintenance department, lease sales representatives, district administrators, and administration associates
Responsible for direct supervision, training, and coaching of rental associates at multiple locations
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of sales experience required
At least 2 years of management experience required
High school degree or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid drivers license required
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred
Strong written/verbal communication skills required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of
alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
