In this role you will be the Strategic Insight Business Partner to the Global RSV Adult Vaccine Commercialisation Leader (VCL).

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to deliver key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

Define and drive the development of appropriate Market Insights activities (aligned to key business imperatives), be accountable for and own the development of short- and long-range sales forecasts and the creation of the associated deliverables and inputs for key governance committees and set the measurement/feedback strategy for new launching markets.
Define and direct the activities of others (on shore, offshore, contractors as appropriate) and also work with data and analytics partners to identify and help deploy advanced analytics to support the brand’s strategic imperatives (e.g predictive demand estimation, dynamic targeting, marketing mix modelling, patient journey analytics). You will also be accountable for developing and deploying brand/circumstance relevant KPIs, dynamic dashboards and accompanying analyses, as well as the utilization of behavioural, sentiment analyses, agile research methods and defining relevant customer experience (CX) measures.
Provide perspectives to the VCL and Vaccine Commercial Team across a broad range of areas including analysis of market drivers, vaccination trends, HCP and Consumer attitudes, behaviours and segmentation and drive application of insights in the development of global and local customer journeys. You will integrate assumptions with the Competitive Intelligence group to align on mid/long term competitive threats and appropriately inform the development of LCM strategies. You will provide key performance updates as inputs to senior level performance reviews and IR calls.
Ensure robust evidence is available for key decision points in the brand’s life cycle and provide clear, insightful interpretation of available internal and external data to senior internal stakeholders
Think strategically and “connect the dots” across all elements of the franchise using disparate data, analytics and insights.

Additional information:

Flexible work arrangements: This role is located in Rockville, MD with secondary locations including Wavre, BE, London, UK and Philadelphia, PA, but remote working arrangements may be considered for appropriate candidates
Reporting line: You will report to the Senior Director, Head Global Vaccines Customer Insights
The Team: You will join a diverse and multicultural team located in the US, UK and Belgium.

In this role, your responsibilities will include

Partner – Act as Strategic Partner to the RSV Adult VCL on all relevant Insight and Analytics areas outlined above and bring objective, independent thinking
Data – Lead the synthesis of internal and external data relevant to ensure the global brand strategy and its implementation is underpinned by data, evidence and insight. Enable and drive data decision making culture
Forecasts – Own robust, evidence-based sales forecasts and build story for key governance forums
I&A Strategy – Own the roadmap for analytics and insights strategy aligned to brand imperatives including internal, external data sets and generation of primary research
Performance – Define and deploy asset/market relevant performance tracking frameworks. Synthesize relevant disparate data sources to better understand performance (e.g Sales, ATU, Mkt Share, Message recall, VEEVA data, Social, global to local KPI’s, etc.); develop clear summaries for senior management reviews (QBR, MPR, IR calls)
Customer Journeys – Develop journey capabilities and lead workshops to deliver one version of the truth. Informs/develops strategies to address challenges and opportunities with commercial and medical teams
Customer Experience – Lead thinking on HCP/Consumer analytics including key CX measures/benchmarks
Targeting and segmentation – Own T&S at global level and ensure latest techniques are utilized to support RSV Adult and that links are made with other brands where adult segmentation is relevant
Content testing – Define frameworks for testing of content utilizing agile methods as appropriate
Advanced Analytics – Understand and evaluate the utility of advanced analytics vis-a-vis global brand imperatives and support deployment of value creating methods
Team – structure, define and lead the activities of the broader team structure supporting RSV Adult commercial analytics. Lead and coach team members to high, focused performance.

Basic qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business or Marketing
Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare, in pharmaceutical (medical or marketing background), management consultancy or financial institution
Proven application of high-quality market research methodologies and commercial analytics, including ability to provide commercial and market insights
Proven ability in asset and portfolio forecasting
Ability to lead the delivery of projects from end-to-end and take ownership and accountability for the deliverables
Experience working with individuals in multiple countries, including working with them to obtain appropriate country-level information and insight
Experienced in a global matrix environment, able to drive impact across a range of functions, seniority, and geographical locations.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

MBA in Finance or Marketing
Thorough conceptual understanding of the drug development and commercialisation process
Understanding of the pharmaceutical / vaccine industry and how it is evolving
Demonstrated credibility with senior internal stakeholders and ability to represent objective commercial analyses
Ability to provide insightful commercial and market insight
Proven analytical and critical thinking capability
Ability to successfully lead and manage through uncertainty, ambiguity, and a fast-paced environment.
