Position : Construction Foreman
Description :
’58 Foundations is looking for Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for our Foreman role contributes to company goals by communicating effectively, installing quality work, and always being respectful in the treatment of the customer and their homes. The crew foreman will function as a working supervisor, acting as team lead for crew members as you work together to get the job done. You will be responsible for the overall progress of assigned projects.

Duties/Requirements:
Partner with crew members to complete assigned projects by performing work, assigning tasks, and ensuring company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed.
Coach and train crew members on proper handling of materials/tools, as well as approved methods of installation of waterproofing and foundation repair.
Oversee your own workflow along with that of designated crew members, to move jobs to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
Review job specifications to determine materials, tools and equipment needed for the job. Assist crew in loading the truck with such materials, tools, and equipment
Assess conditions of the job once on-site; plan time allotment, tools needed, and sequence of tasks to delegate workload for crew members and themselves accordingly.
Adjusts for conditions, makes minor changes from original job order, troubleshoots situations, innovates process on the spot, to complete the job in a manner that meets company standards and timetables
Communicate with the customer throughout the job, to aid in understanding and enhance satisfaction with final result.
Deliver 5-star customer service experiences in all interactions with our customers.
Ensure that customer is aware of any changes to the job before making any such change.
Provide customers with contact information and required paperwork at job completion.
Communicate with Operations Manager and Production Department regarding details of the job. Escalate concerns / issues appropriately.
Ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate and distributed appropriately.
Regular and punctual attendance; ability to work overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting a minimum of 60 lbs.
Working in confined work-spaces that may require crawling, kneeling, crouching
Standing for extended periods of time
Carrying, climbing, pulling, sitting, stooping
Ability to withstand working in different weather environments including extreme cold and heat
Work Experience / Qualifications:
Construction experience, preferably a minimum of two years
Strong customer service skills
Experience using power tools
Understanding or knowledge of reading plans/blueprints
Knowledge of foundation lifting
Experience mentoring and coaching teammates/crew members
Good verbal communication and listening skills
Ability to write legibly and error-free
Ability to perform all aspects of the job including, but not limited to:
Waterproofing crawlspace and basement areas
Hand digging and waterproofing
Sump pump installation
Window well installation
Polyurethane crack injection
Epoxy crack injection
Other Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a clean, valid driver license
CDL license a plus
Must have reliable transportation to base office daily
Be able to pass background check and drug test
Strong work ethic
