Headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, MSI is actively seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to promote the MSI product portfolio to current and potential customers by providing clinical education and sales support to all engaged hospital personnel as well as the MSI sales team.
The Clinical Support Specialist will travel on an as needed basis and provide assistance with the management of product evaluations or case trials in hospitals. The expected duties will range from conducting in-service training programs to providing technical assistance in various hospital venues such as the O.R., Trauma, etc.
The clinical support specialist will provide clinical education to current and potential customers providing them with pre/ post-sale technical support and training. The clinical specialist will provide case coverage, follow-up support, trouble shooting, customer service and education on MSI’s entire product portfolio on an as needed basis. The clinical specialist will also champion training initiatives to newly hired Sales Team members and as new product developments require
Primary Responsibilities
· Educate, inform and instruct hospital personnel of clinical effectiveness and technical function of MSI’s product portfolio· Assist field sales personnel to identify sales opportunities and present clinical support during the sales cycle· Provide case coverage, follow-up support, trouble shooting , customer service and education on an as needed basis· Support Trade Shows, educational events and National sales meetings as required· Assist in the formal training of newly hired sales and other MSI personnel on an as needed basis· Work with Teams to conduct clinical trials on site at hospitals
Job Requirements
– Minimum degree LPN with 2 years in the operating room- 2+ years experience in similar role preferred- Travel required- Strong written & verbal skills required- Strong skill set to be very positive in-tone when answering product objections- Credentialed in all necessary hospitals- Strong presentation skills and familiarity with PowerPoint equipment- Strong interpersonal & relationship skills with both hospital staff & co-workers
This is an Independent Contract (1099) position.
