Position: Housekeeping
Reports to: Store Manager & Showroom Manager

This job description includes Showroom maintenance responsibilities and a list of all duties to be performed daily, weekly and monthly.
Our goal is to keep our building and showroom in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsible for all basic cleaning for the interior of the building.
Cleaning of all flooring – including vacuuming all showroom display areas. Dust mopping, sweeping of all hard surfaces.
Cleaning of all rest rooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning of all toilets and urinals. Restocking of all supplies.
Cleaning of employee lunch room, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing the fixtures, sweeping and mopping the floors and sanitizing counter surfaces.
Dusting and Glass cleaning of furniture, mirrors and glass.
Emptying various trash cans as needed and replacing liners.
Maintaining and cleaning of office spaces
Maintain supplies for cleaning and notify when supplies need restocked or reordered.
Follows all health and safety regulations.
May on occasion need to carry out extra cleaning tasks or special projects.
Report any showroom adjustments or repairs needed or breakage occurred.
tore cleaning is for the INTERIORS Home showroom and does not include Rug Bazaar. All business partners contract their own cleaning services.
Preforms any additional duties as needed.
Hours and Work Attendance:
Retail hours may need to be flexible. May need to be available to work occasional Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays
Highly reasonable and reliable
Ability to work some flexible hours including evening, weekends, holidays, and sales events
18-20 Hours Per Week

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma.
A minimum of 1or more in cleaning industry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentials functions of this job.
Ability to stand and walk the showroom for long periods of time. Required to use a vacuum for extended periods. Need to use your hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy up to 25lbs.
