Description:
You will be responsible for claims entry, investigation and recovery of various issues related to customer deductions, truck detention, quantity shortages, quality issues and transit related cargo loss damage claims. The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive. The claims team currently consists of a Claims Manager and second Claims Associate.
Record, investigate, and collect claims documentation
File and recover assigned claims
Balance monthly claims reports
Prepare claim data reports as needed by management
Coordinate salvage sale of rejected product in coordination and guidance with Manager
Report and analyze open/pending claims with manager
