Recruitment Requirements
§ Bachelors degree required
§ Masters degree preferred from an accredited institution in Theology, Pastoral Care, Spirituality, Counseling or similar discipline
§ 800 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education (2 Units) preferred. 400 Hours (1 Unit) is required
§ 1 year or more of Chaplaincy or pastoral experience preferably in a healthcare, homecare, or life care setting
§ Ability to provide nondenominational spiritual care to patients/families from varied religious backgrounds
§ Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
§ Required to maintain behavior in the community consistent with high moral character
§ Demonstrate competency in religious and cultural diversity relative to faith traditions
§ Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
§ Demonstrate current knowledge of psychological and sociological disciplines and religious beliefs
