Join our sales team! This is a full-time, hourly, on-site position requiring excellent customer service, sales, detail-oriented, problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, and strong communication skills. Prefer 2-3 years experience in building material sales.Wage is based on experience and eligible for qualified earned commission. Wage range is $50,000 to $100,000 per year.Our Sales Team Members are asked to work every other weekend and must be willing to work some evenings.*Job Summary*This sales position is responsible for taking sales orders, taking calls, preparing quotes, and providing overall customer service. The ideal team member will have the ability and knowledge to calculate estimates for house packages, decks, garages, post frame buildings, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assisting customers with product inquires
Prospect, maintain, and grow a contractor customer list
Generate estimates, take-offs from drawings, and sales orders
Learn and use product knowledge to be an effective salesperson for our company
Apply current and useful sales processes to sell and service the growing customer base
Working with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
Delivering rental equipment to customer locations
Checking in and out rental equipment
Create sales orders and purchase orders using the POS system accurately
Maintain excellent communication with other team members and management
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Experience
Prefer- 2-3 years’ experience in Building Material Sales
License
Required- Valid driver’s license
