Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) focus on providing industry-leading treatment methods to clients in schools, home & clinical settings through logical thinking, problem solving, and a multi-faceted approach based on client needs. We are a small but rapidly-growing BCBA team that works to develop employees through mentorship and effective leadership to drive individual goals. We’re looking for an experienced BCBA (1-3 years experience) for this role.
Essential Functions
Able to effectively develop and monitor evidence-based treatment plans through ABA evaluations/assessments & therapy in homes, schools & clinical settings *Ability to develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP’s) & train impacted team (teachers, school aides, parents, etc.) through coaching
Able to provide consistent supervision & evaluation of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) performance, documentation & quality of work.
Ability to physically assist clients, which may require lifting or physically guiding.
Competencies Must be licensed in the state of Maryland. This position primarily works in patient home settings, school or clinical setting and may also be required to work via Telehealth. There will be frequent interaction with persons who are mentally ill, disabled, children and emotionally upset.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to use their own vehicle to travel in the Washington, D.C or Maryland area (employees are required to have auto insurance and a Driver’s license) to patient’s home. Travel Local travel is expected for this position. Candidates in Washington D.C. Metro Area are encouraged to apply. Ability to lift objects up to 25lbs, good standing and sitting posture. The position requires effective manual dexterity.
The ideal candidate will have:
2-5 years experience providing ABA interventions with children & adolescents, programming for natural environments & treating in a variety of settings
Spanish & English proficiency is highly desired
Strong knowledge of child development and atypical development
Must undergo a childcare/criminal background check.
