Job Description
Your Impact in This Role:
As an IT Developer, you help execute Fortune Brands Outdoors and Security digital strategy aligned with business requirements and priorities. You collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, eCommerce, Logistics, and Finance to enable our fast-paced business to grow and evolve. Working on a high-performing team, you focus on the timely delivery of software projects on various web platforms.
Your Path to Success:
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements
Translate end-user requirements into feasible technical specifications
Develop, test, deploy and maintain application development solutions, working closely with business partners and software engineers to create system processes that meet or exceed the needs of the business users
Participate in scrum meetings and ensure customer needs are being met by certifying deliverables
Communicate and uphold best practices in software engineering, security, and design
Seek out innovation in everyday activities
Ability to express ideas in both business- and user-friendly languages
Qualifications
Your Technical Expertise & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline
3+ years of software development experience
Front End: VB.NET, React, Angular, or Vue using HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript
Framework: .NET 4+, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, .NET MVVM, .NET Core, Web API
Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ or similar
Reporting: SSRS, Crystal Reports, or similar
API: Web Service formats such as JSON, XML
Design Ability: UI/UX/Interactive and basic prototype design, technical architecture patterns, and data modeling
Knowledge of agile methodology
Preferred – Version Control: GitLab/GitHub repository
Plus: Dell Boomi
Plus: AutoCAD
Plus: Certifications on Microsoft Technologies, Project Management, Scrum
